I’m Megan Ashley, an online personal trainer who has helped hundreds of women lose weight, build muscle, improve their fitness, and develop healthy habits that stick.

How do I do it? By not making your life smaller. 

In a time when every fitness influencer is peddling a new plan, tea, or workout to make you skinnier and smaller, I believe meeting your fitness and nutrition goals requires you to THINK BIGGER.

Real results demand a big picture perspective on your life and what you want out of it. That means taking your habits, your thoughts around food, your season of life, your schedule, work, your quality of sleep, and more into consideration. 

You will never meet your goals by shrinking yourself. 



I’ve been where you are. In my mid-20s, I was a bodybuilding gym rat who counted every single macro and never skipped a day at the gym. Then I had my two kids, and everything in my life changed. What used to work – or what I believed was the only way to be “healthy” – didn’t work with my new season of life.

I had to meet myself where I was at, and what I saw was a new mom who needed more flexibility, more grace, and a new regimen in the kitchen and the gym (or wherever I could fit a workout in, lol) to feel healthier and stronger.

Wherever you are at right now – pre-pregnancy, postpartum, pre-menopausal, or somewhere in between – I want to help you bridge the gap from what you think will help you finally lose the weight or maintain a balanced diet to the lifestyle you can’t not stick to.

Awareness - This is where I get to know you better. You’ll tell me where you’re at, what you’ve tried, and what you’re currently doing where food and workouts are concerned. While you will implement some targeted changes at the start, there phase is more about pinpointing your habits and behaviors that are no longer serving you.

Then this

Adjustment - Now that you know what you want to change, you can really focus on implementing those changes. From healthier eating and proper portion sizes, to consistency with steps and training, and sleep, stress management, and more. Everything and anything is game, and we want to cover it all when you’re ready and when it best fits your life.

Then this

Maintenance - because you want long-lasting results, and to be able to do it on our own, you practice maintaining your progress, along with added flexibility. Putting your skills, tools, and knowledge to the test while still having the support and guidance you need helps you really learn what you need to thrive long-term.

Cycle - your goals (and life) might require more than one adjustment and maintenance phases. You cycle in and out of these as needed based on your goals, progress, life demands, and preferences.

Part of a successful send off is helping you feel confident and ready to stay on track, get back on track, and to not fall for the nonsense again.

You might be wondering what a typical week looks like 

On Tuesday, you might have a training session and send me a few videos to review. (Don’t worry if you’re camera shy) I will send you back what you did well, and a thing or two to focus on for next time, whether that is a different setup, a cue, or a higher intensity.

On Thursday, you enjoy your well-earned rest day, but you’re silently cursing me while going down the stairs (I am sorry, that gets better)

On Wednesday we wear pink (jk, you can, but you won’t find me in it) come dinner time you might just be in a pinch, you can’t figure out how to track your rice, you are super short on protein, you are way over on carbs and are questioning what the heck you got into and if you’re truly ready for this. But you send me over a quick message, and I can talk you off the ledge, remind you that you’re learning, and that you’ve got this.

On Friday you send me over a frantic message about your last minute date night and how you can navigate going out and staying on track, or if you should just say forget it (he might not be into you anyway) and I tell you that its up to you but you have options (we love options) and go over them all with you. You decide he is worth a shot and look up the menu ahead of time. 

Saturday, you crush your steps, and it’s my day off. You might send me a message, and that’s ok, I will get back to you tomorrow unless it’s absolutely urgent. 

And on Sunday, you send me over some more training videos. You have the same love-hate relationship with Bulgarians, and you curse me for them, but also feel proud AF because you didn’t think you could do them.

Your week starts on Monday morning with check-ins, where you send me your updated progress pictures, send me your prior week’s stats sheet, and a filled-out questionnaire going into all the details about the previous week, and to let me know what you need from me. I will respond as soon as I can with a detailed voice memo or video going over your progress and updating your plan if needed.

I know that you have probably tried all the things and been unsuccessful more than you have been successful, and I get it, it isn’t easy to try again. This is exactly what I am here for, you. Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take for me to see results?

It depends. Most clients start to see a shift in their mindset and awareness right away, but like most results, it takes time for long-lasting, sustainable results

Are your programs custom?

Yes, every plan is tailored to you, your lifestyle, equipment availability, and preferences. 

Can I cancel anytime?

While I do ask that you stick to your commitment of 3,6, or 12 months, I do understand that sometimes things happen and I handle everything on a case-by-case basis. 

How long are the workouts?

They vary depending on you, your schedule, and your goals, but on average, cardio ranges from 20-60 minutes and lifts range from 45-75 minutes.

How do I know what package is best for me?

Most of my clients start off with 3-6 months and then sign up for a year afterwards, just to see how things go. But if you are sure you want to stick with something longer, go for the year. 

What is the check-in process like?

I am not new to working out, but I haven’t in a while. Is this a good fit for me?

How soon can I expect a response from you as a client?

What if I miss a check-in?

We will have a dedicated day each week for check-ins where you will answer questions based on your progress, mindset, and biofeedback. You will also send progress pictures. You will receive a detailed voice or video message back from me reviewing your check-in and updating your plan for the upcoming week. There is also an opportunity to discuss both short-term and long-term goals and answer any questions you have. 

Of course! I will ensure you have a program that is tailored to your ability and work with you to improve your skills in the gym. 

On average, all messages and training videos are replied to within a couple of hours. On-time check-ins receive same-day replies responded to in the order that I receive them. Any messages received after 8 pm EST or on Saturdays will get a response the next day.

No worries! While I do expect on-time check-ins, I know life happens. If you forget, just reach out to me as soon as you can, and we will catch up. If it’s planned, just let me know and we can talk about an alternate day for your check-in.

How much am I committing to each week, working together?

This depends entirely on you, your lifestyle, and your availability. Your plan will be tailored to meet you where you’re a, and we will work together to develop ways to make it easier and less time-consuming. Most clients work out in the gym 3-5x per week, and do additional cardio 3-4x per week. Time outside the gym might include meal prep, steps, grocery shopping and more.

Do I have to track macros in order to work with you?

What qualifications do you have to coach?

Yes (BUT), structuring your workouts to align with your lifestyle and goals is important. We can chat about what you enjoy and make sure we are incorporating it. 

Can I do any type of workout?

Do I have access to you in between check-ins?

Absolutely not. Everyone is different, and tracking food that closely isn't right for everyone. Some people choose to track protein and calories while others prefer to just focus on hunger cues, healthy choices, and portion sizes. We will figure out what is best for you.

Either access to a well-equipped gym or some equipment at home. At a minimum, you will need a set of dumbbells and some bands. I will be more than happy to offer some recommendations based on your space and budget.

There is never a perfect time to start, but you would want to feel somewhat ready. I want you to be able to commit to your plan and your goals, but your life shouldn’t need to be on hold. For some, when big changes happen in your life it’s a good time to introduce new routines; for others, they prefer to focus only on their new goals. Regardless, we can plan around your vacation, busy schedule, and life’s unexpected.
